
ASHLEY BOOK, P.A
Ashley Book began her education at the University of Texas at San Antonio, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She went on to receive her Emergency Medical Technician-Basic from Austin Community College. She graduated in 2002 with honors from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Ashley brings over 20 years of experience in clinical orthopedic care and orthopedic surgery to her role at Grey Canyon Family Medicine. Much of her professional career has been spent working with orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Scott L. Sledge, MD who specializes in treatment of shoulder conditions. In her personal time, Ashley fosters special needs dogs for animal rescues all over the country, sometimes fostering 15-25 dogs at one time.
CYNDI FLORES, LVN
Cyndi has been the cornerstone of Dr. Mac’s Concierge practice for the last five years. A native Texan, Cyndi grew up in Three Rivers. Cyndi is our master of all trades and makes sure that our thriving practice continues to provide exceptional care and service. Cyndi received her LVN from St. Phillips University. She has had a lifelong passion for nursing and caring for others. She enjoys interacting with patients, keeping up with ongoing education and being a part of our team. She is an avid DIYer and loves tackling home improvement projects in her spare time. Cyndi has four kids and two dogs and is a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan much to Dr. Mac’s dismay.
ROSIE GONZALES, M.A. CLINICAL NURSE DIRECTOR
Rosie is a certified Medical Assistant and is currently in nursing school to obtain her BSN. Her love for healthcare began as a child and has continued into her adulthood with hope of following in her mother’s footsteps as a nurse. Rosie strives to provide patients with the utmost quality of care while always putting their concerns and needs first. She is experienced in obtaining vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, staring intravenous lines (IVs), and multiple office and minor surgical procedures. Rosie has a true joy for what she does, and it shows with every patient she encounters.
DESIREE MARTINEZ, L.V.N.
Desiree became a nurse out of a lifelong passion for helping others and making a meaningful difference through compassionate care. With two years of LVN experience in Orthopedics, skilled nursing, and Texas Oncology, she brings adaptability and a deep understanding of patient needs. She has a special interest in concierge medicine, where she provides personalized, one-on-one care that helps patients feel valued and supported. Passionate about patient education, Desiree empowers individuals to take an active role in their health. Her holistic, patient-centered approach focuses on empathy, respect, and clear communication to deliver exceptional, compassionate care.
ANISSA DUCK, M.A. & PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR
Raised in a small town in south Texas known as Crystal City, Anissa moved to San Antonio in 2019 to further her education and pursue a bachelor’s degree at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Anissa is a certified phlebotomist at Grey Canyon Family Medicine and has grown a true passion for the medical field. She strives to help patients on a daily basis and has hopes of advancing in her education in the medical field. On her free time, Anissa enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out, trying new foods, and being outdoors.
ANNIE DE LA GARZA, R.N.
Annie’s passion for healthcare began early, but the COVID-19 pandemic inspired her to advance her career and become a nurse. With over 17 years of experience—from Medical Assistant to LVN to RN—she brings both skill and compassion to every patient she serves. She has worked in concierge primary care and now thrives in the pediatric emergency department, where she finds joy in helping children and families during challenging times. Rooted in compassion and advocacy, Annie strives to make every patient feel safe, heard, and cared for. As a mother, daughter, and granddaughter, she treats each person as if they were her own family.

Ashley is an accomplished CFO with over 15 years of experience in the financial and medical industry with a proven track record of driving growth through strategic financial management. From Texas Tech University, she brings deep expertise in financial planning, risk management, and data-driven strategy with a collaborative leadership style. As CFO, Ashley is dedicated to fostering transparency, innovation, and sustainable success across all areas of Grey Canyon Family Medicine to ensure patients have the best experience
